Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for Depression, Anxiety, Trauma

Dr. Jenine Saekow

I provide online therapy for adults in CA, CO, NY.

You’ve tried it all and nothing has really worked. Discover a new path to healing with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

I offer online ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) for adults seeking relief from anxiety, depression, and trauma. Ketamine helps to enhance neural plasticity, which can help "reset" brain pathways stuck in patterns of fear, sadness, or disconnection, allowing new insights and emotional healing to emerge. In our work together, ketamine sessions are carefully integrated into your broader therapy process.

KAP can be most helpful for patients who want to:

  • Rapidly reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma when other treatments haven’t worked

  • Create openings for deeper emotional insight and self-reflection

  • Interrupt rigid, negative thought patterns and support mental flexibility

Kind Words from Past Patients

“Dr. Saekow is incredibly compassionate and understanding, and she is able to provide different perspectives to help me think through issues. She was always very encouraging, yet demonstrated great empathy in helping me reframe some of the very emotional issues I was working through.”

-Tech Professional, 30s

“She gave me really specific techniques to immediately address the issues I was facing. She was extremely caring while still being honest so I felt so supported throughout the whole process. She really took the time to understand me but it felt like she knew me right away.”

-Asian American female, 20s

“I was given the tools to help me from spiraling out of control. It made me wish I'd been more proactive in seeking out therapy earlier...because who knows how much more different/better my life could've been.”

-Tech Professional, 30s

Therapy with me is a mix of these evidence based techniques:

  • Helps you identify and change unhelpful thoughts to improve how you feel and respond to challenges.

  • Focuses on building skills to manage intense emotions, improve communication with others, and tolerate distress.

  • Encourages you to accept difficult emotions in situations you cannot change while committing to actions that align with your values.

  • Teaches you to stay present, reduce reactivity, and respond to stress with greater calm and clarity.

  • Helps you understand and heal the different “parts” of yourself—like the inner critic, the protector, or the wounded child—so you can feel more balanced, whole, and self-compassionate.

About Me

I truly love what I do. I have been providing therapy since 2011, though my work feels like a natural extension of who I am. I’ve known since I was young that I wanted to be a psychologist. I’ve always been the listener in my friend groups and felt emotions deeply. I feel grateful to sit with people during some of their most honest and vulnerable moments.

I’m a San Diegan native, and I’ve loved living in New York City, Palo Alto, and Charlotte. Outside of therapy, I love traveling with friends and family, baking something sweet, and I’m already planning next year’s Super Bowl party.
