Dr. Jenine Saekow
Therapy available in CA, CO, NY.
As a former onsite psychologist for employees at Meta and Google, I understand the fast-paced, high-performance culture of the tech industry and how it can impact your mental health.

In our work together, I draw from evidence-based approaches to help you:
Learn to manage stress before it leads to burnout
Reconnect with personal values to guide career choices
Set boundaries at work without guilt
Break free from cycles of perfectionism and self doubt
Replace people-pleasing with self-respect
Develop tools to stay focused

Therapy with me is a mix of these evidence based techniques:
-
Helps you identify and change unhelpful thoughts to improve how you feel and respond to challenges.
-
Focuses on building skills to manage intense emotions, improve communication with others, and tolerate distress.
-
Encourages you to accept difficult emotions in situations you cannot change while committing to actions that align with your values.
-
Teaches you to stay present, reduce reactivity, and respond to stress with greater calm and clarity.
Kind Words from Past Patients
“Dr. Saekow is incredibly compassionate and understanding, and she is able to provide different perspectives to help me think through issues. She was always very encouraging, yet demonstrated great empathy in helping me reframe some of the very emotional issues I was working through.”
-Tech Professional, 30s
“She gave me really specific techniques to immediately address the issues I was facing. She was extremely caring while still being honest so I felt so supported throughout the whole process. She really took the time to understand me but it felt like she knew me right away.”
-Asian American female, 20s
“I was given the tools to help me from spiraling out of control. It made me wish I'd been more proactive in seeking out therapy earlier...because who knows how much more different/better my life could've been.”

About Me
I truly love what I do. I have been providing therapy since 2011, though my work feels like a natural extension of who I am. I’ve known since I was young that I wanted to be a psychologist. I’ve always been the listener in my friend groups and felt emotions deeply. I feel grateful to sit with people during some of their most honest and vulnerable moments.
Throughout my life, I’ve worked and studied in very competitive and high-performing environments. I know firsthand what it feels like to work nonstop, sprint towards the next big goal, and then wake up the next day and do it all again. For a long time, I equated achievement with my self-worth and believed that if I just worked harder, I would reach a finish line. But that pace wasn’t sustainable and there was always another goal to reach.
Through therapy, I learned how to balance my well-being with my ambition. I discovered how to prioritize what truly matters and build a sense of confidence that didn’t depend on external validation. Now, I help others do the same, so you can pursue success without sacrificing your mental health.
I’m a San Diegan native, and I’ve loved living in New York City, Palo Alto, and Charlotte. Outside of therapy, I love traveling with friends and family, baking something sweet, and I’m already planning next year’s Super Bowl party.
